You can still get shiny dream world Pokemon it is just as rare an occurance though. I obtained my Blaziken through the GTS. If you were unable to use dream world shiny pokemon than they would not pass the random matchup test that happens before you enter into a battle with a random Pokemon, the server detects Pokemon that are not possible and notifies you :)

That’s actually false, the gts will only pick it up if it has illegal moves, natures, and a specific ribbon and that sort of thing. Shinyness is not picked up. My hacked charizard got through. I’m on the shiny forums on serebii all the time and I know that dw Pokemon cannot be shiny. At all. Unless hacked or breed with the dream world ability outside of the DW. Either battle subway so he’s level fifty and the psypoke IV calculator or PokeCheck

I gave a 6 year old a really really rare old nidoking card for his birthday, I expected him to only know the newer generations of pokemon but I got this back in the mail, looks like there’s still hope for the young poke fans! This made me sososo happy(x

Except he isn’t normal type.. but poison and ground. He has many years to learn though lol

But it was a Pokemon card, which doesn’t have poison. Nidoking was categorized as Normal on the card game.

Doesn’t mean he’s a normal type pokemon ;] but it doesn’t matter, he’s 6.
